Custom Captain’s Chair: From idea to finished build

We recently had a client come to us wanting a custom captain’s chair for their boat. They had a rough idea in mind, but no drawings or design. Just a concept.

So, we worked with them to figure out exactly what they were after, sketched up a design, and got stuck into the build. The whole thing was made from stainless steel — solid, durable, and built to last on the water.

Once it was fabricated, we polished (and polished and polished) it until it had a clean, mirror finish. Then it was off to the upholsterers to get the final touches — custom cushions to suit the rest of the boat.

The end result is a one-of-a-kind chair that’ll hold up in tough conditions and look sharp doing it.
